Member of the budget committee of the Council of Federation Valery Semenova said that the agreement ensures settlement of all mutual financial requirements and liabilities, which arose between two states on transactions of former Soviet Union.
Uzbekistan and Russia signed the agreement on settlement of mutual financial claims and liabilities in December 2014 within the visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Uzbekistan.
The document envisages that Russia will write off debt of Uzbekistan for US$865 million.
