Commercial banks issue 224.5bn soums to develop cattle breeding
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
In eleven months of 2013, the commercial banks of Uzbekistan issued 224.5 billion soums to development of cattle breeding to ensure population with jobs and financial support of agriculture goods producers, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan said.
The banks allocated 22.4 billion soums to develop fishing and beekeeping.
They also directed 60.3 billion soums to purchase mini-technologies and equipment to process vegetables and fruits, 74.9 billion soums – organization of poultry farms, and 24.4 billion soums – construction of greenhouses.
The commercial banks also issued preferential loans for 485 billion to production of wheat and 1.5 trillion soums – cotton production.
