Energonews reported that Vostochniy Alat gas condensate field was opened in the result of exploration works of Qarakul investment block in 2011.

Currently, the company is preparing a report on reserves of natural gas and gas condensate at the field and it will be later submitted to the State Commission on Reserves under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

According to estimates of the government representatives, the estimated the volume of investments to construction of field will make up US$150 million in the first three years. The forecasted mining volume is not disclosed.
