Citizens do not pay a state fee when appealing to an administrative court against decisions of officials that violate their rights and interests

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Law signed by the President introduced amendments and additions to the law “On State Duty”.

According to it, individuals are exempt from paying state fees when appealing to the court against decisions, actions (inactions) of local government authorities, republican executive authorities, other bodies authorized to carry out administrative and legal activities, self-government bodies of citizens, their officials violating their rights and legitimate interests.

In the event of a complete or partial refusal to satisfy the claims of these persons, the state duty is collected from these persons in proportion to the size of the claims, the satisfaction of which was refused.

In such cases, the state duty collected from citizens on submitted applications is set at 70 percent of the basic estimated value (previously it was set at 1 basic estimated value).
