Citizens can submit income declarations through my.gov.uz

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 150 of 2 April 2022 “On approval of administrative regulations for the provision of certain public services in the field of registration of taxpayers.”

According to this document, the Administrative Regulations for the provision of public services for the provision of voluntary and preliminary declarations on the total annual income of individuals, as well as declarations on the income of foreign individuals from the sale of their property, have been approved.

The declaration can be submitted through the following channels:

- Public service centers;

- Electronic tax services portal;

- A single portal of interactive government services (my.gov.uz).

If a declaration is submitted, the tax authority, within 5 working days, checks the provided data and accepts the declaration, or sends a notification about the need to correct the data and re-submit the declaration.

Also it approved are the Administrative Regulations for the provision of public services for filing applications for a refund of overpaid income tax on personal income aimed at professional and higher educational organizations, non-state preschool educational organizations and (or) schools, as well as for mortgage loans received.

Within 10 working days after filing the application, the tax authority sends a response to the applicant. There is no fee for the provision of government services.
