Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On improving the procedure for providing public services in the field of migration and obtaining citizenship, as well as state registration of motor vehicles and issuing state license plates” was adopted.

Until 1 October 2023, the process of delivering ID-cards and passports to their owners through the postal service will be established.

From 1 December 2023, citizens will, if they wish, begin to provide services in the field of migration, as well as to carry out state registration of vehicles and the issuance of state license plates with a visit to their place of residence.

Those wishing to use outbound migration services can apply through:

- official website, "Call-center", mobile application of the main department of migration and citizenship registration;

my.gov.uz.

The contacting person chooses a free day on which he wants to receive an outreach service.

In order to receive outreach services, in addition to standard fees and payments for public services, a person must pay transportation costs, the amount of which is from 21.9 (if the distance is within 10 km) to 83.2% (100 km) of the basic estimated value.

Vulnerable segments of the population will be provided with outreach services within 10 working days from the date of application without charging additional fees.

For reference: the vulnerable segments of the population include:

- lonely elderly people, including those in need of outside help;

- persons with disabilities of groups I and II, children with disabilities;

- incapacitated persons and persons with limited legal capacity;

- persons with socially significant diseases;

- orphans

and persons deprived of parental care;

- persons recognized as needing social services.

Also, citizens can order a service for on-site registration of motor vehicles and the issuance of state license plates. The amount of additional payments for the provision of field services when they are provided during:

1 day - 4 sizes of basic estimated value;

3 days - 3 sizes of basic estimated value;

5 days - 2 sizes of basic estimated value.

If the distance exceeds 10 km, an additional 5% of the sizes of basic estimated value is paid for each kilometer.
