CIS railway firms to fight A/H1N1 virus jointly

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Railway administration of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) agreed to fight spread of A/H1N1 virus via railroad together. The commission on cooperation of railway administrations of the CIS states gathered at Svetlogorsk, Russia, on 11 September.

The session of the commission focused on issue of fighting new flu. Representatives of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine participated at the meeting.

The sides signed a protocol of the meeting, which approved a programme of joint work on fighting dangerous disease.
