CIS commissions on standardization to gather in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Twenty-fifth sessions of the Scientific-technical commission on compliance and the Scientific-technical commission on accreditation will be held in Tashkent on 30-31 March.
The events will be held within the Interstate Council on standardization, metrology and certification (ICS) of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The participants will consider over 20 issues, including implementation of the action plan on realization of the concept on further CIS Development and action plan on implementation of the first stage (2009-2011) of the Strategy of the CIS Economic Development up to 2010 and others.
Members of the commissions from the CIS countries, the CIS Executive Committee will attend the meeting. Korea and Germany will send their observers.
ICS CIS is intergovernmental body of the CIS on forming and conducting single policy on on standardization, metrology and certification.
