Chopard bling: back in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Switzerland’s Chopard, one of the world’s foremost jewelry making companies, presented its blingy designs at International Hotel Tashkent. The exquisite jewelry and watches that went on display accentuated the company’s tradition of balancing fine classics and innovation.

The show kicked off with a ten-minute video about Chopard’s activities during the last Cannes Film Festival. “We shot this video a few weeks ago and now it has premiered in Tashkent. It’s a big honor for us,” said Carlo Mattiuzzi, Chopard’s international sales manager, who thanked the organizers for hosting the show, official website of Style.uz said.

Chopard has staged a presentation of its upscale pieces in Tashkent as part of Style.Uz Art Week for a fifth year in a row. The jewelry show was attended by international guests as well as Uzbek jewelers, design students and apprentices of applied art masters who had the opportunity to learn of the latest trends in jewelry and draw inspiration for the creation of contemporary and traditional pieces in national style and modern interpretation.

Founded in 1860 by Swiss watchmaker Louis-Ulysse Chopard at the age of 24, the company boasts a long history of excellence. Its distinctive features include remarkable quality, creativity and a successful blend of innovative design and traditional craftsmanship, which have given the company trend-setting power.
