Chirchik Technopark exports over half of its production in 2024

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2024, companies operating within the Chirchik Chemical-Industrial Technopark, established in Uzbekistan with the participation of the Kazan-based technopolis "Khimgrad," exported 53% of their produced goods. This was announced by Khimgrad's CEO, Ayrat Gizzatullin, during the International Energy Forum "EnergoProm" held in Kazan.

According to him, the Chirchik technopark has not only become a significant regional project for Uzbekistan but has also actively integrated into the markets of neighboring Central Asian countries, including Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. "Our enterprises are feeling confident and successfully developing there," noted Gizzatullin.

He also mentioned that 19 companies have already launched production in Chirchik, and the number of residents continues to grow.

Regarding the technopark in Jizzakh, also established as part of the cooperation with Khimgrad, there are currently four companies holding resident status. Gizzatullin stated that active construction and installation work is underway on the site, and agreements have been reached with several potential participants who may soon be granted official resident status. He emphasized that a number of promising projects are planned for Jizzakh.

The Chirchik Technopark was created with the goal of localizing production for both foreign and domestic companies. It features well-developed engineering infrastructure, including easy access to energy networks, providing optimal conditions for business operations in any facility or building.
