Both sides exchanged views on bilateral ties and the issues related to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Wang spoke highly of bilateral ties and the achievements made in the SCO’s development, expressing willingness to work with Uzbekistan to enhance bilateral high-level exchanges, expand pragmatic cooperation in all areas and push forward China-Uzbekistan friendly cooperative partnership.
Wang appreciated the enormous efforts Uzbekistan has made after holding the presidency of the SCO, adding that China is ready to work closely with Uzbekistan to ensure the comprehensive, sound and stable development of the SCO.
Solihbaev reaffirmed that Uzbekistan attaches great importance to ties with China and is ready to continue working closely with China within the bilateral and SCO frameworks in a bid to promote economic and social development of the two countries as well as the entire region and safeguard regional security and stability.
