Trade turnover between two countries grew by 49.4% year-on-year to US$1.062 billion in January-June, the administration said.
China’s export to Uzbekistan reached US$141.854 million in June 2009, and the export in January-June reached US$855.658 million, which is up 70.5% year-on-year.
According to the statistics of Uzbekistan, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and China comprised US$1.167 billion in January-June 2009.
Exports of Uzbekistan grew from US$210.2 million in January-June 2008 to US$277.9 million in the same period of 2009. China exports to Uzbekistan rose from US$449.4 million in the first half of 2008 to US$889.6 million in the same period of 2009, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.
