Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation led by Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, is on an official visit to Uzbekistan.

On 6 June, the Chinese delegation visited the ancient city of Samarkand, where they explored the historical monuments and architectural landmarks of the historic city.

Today, the guests arrived in Tashkent, where the main events of the visit will take place. At Tashkent International Airport, they were welcomed by Tanzila Narbaeva, Chairwoman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.
