Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 6 July, a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, Zhao Leji, arrived in Uzbekistan for a visit.

The visit began in the historic part of Samarkand, where the guests were welcomed by Nurdin Ismailov, the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

In recent years, thanks to the strong political will of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and Chairman Xi Jinping of China, the quality of cooperation between the two countries has reached new heights.

Regular high-level meetings contribute to the rapid development of relations in trade, economic, investment, and other spheres.

During the visit, negotiations and meetings are planned to discuss the tasks facing the parliaments in ensuring the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
