Six journalists paid a visit to Uzbekistan on 15-19 May 2010, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan said.

The project was aimed at preparing materials on economic and cultural life of Uzbekistan for further publication in Chinese mass media.

The group included editors and journalists of media outlets related to the Department on publishing and literature distribution in foreign languages of China, including Chinese Information Internet Center, Beijing Review, China magazine.

During the visit to Uzbekistan, journalists prepared a series of reports about investment, tourism potential and culture in Uzbekistan. The journalists also visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
