Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Investors from China plan to implement several investment projects in Tashkent region.

The delegation of Tashkent region visited China and held meetings with representatives of the PRC business community.

After a meeting between the delegation of Tashkent region and representatives of the Chinese business community, preliminary agreements were reached on the implementation of projects in various fields, such as electrical engineering, production of building materials, textile industry, healthcare, production of porcelain and ceramic products, as well as the creation of an IT park.

One of the projects is the construction of a diagnostic and health center in the Zangiata region worth US$20 million.

It is also planned to implement a project to provide one-time meals and catering services to social facilities for US$25 million.

In addition, the construction of photovoltaic power plants in Akhangaran for a total cost of US$2 billion is being discussed.

Chinese investors are also considering investing in the creation of a small industrial zone and the construction and reconstruction of housing in Yangiyul.

At a meeting with business representatives in the province of Khoton, agreements were reached on the implementation of projects for the production of pharmaceutical products, metal structures, artificial fibers and threads totaling US$90 million.

Presentations were also made on the creation of industrial zones with an area of 200 hectares in Nurafshan and Zangiata region.
