The report said the project is financed due to direct investments of five leather-shoe enterprises of Wenzhou city of Zhejiang province (eastern China).

The complex will be placed on 32 hectares and it will process natural leather, produce leather products, footwear, etc.

After the launch of the first stage at the end of 2010, the complex will process 300,000 skins and produce 600,000 pairs of footwear a year. After full commissioning, the enterprise will process 600,000 skins and produce 4 million pairs a footwear a year.

The protocol on cooperation in creation of leather-shoe complex was inked on 29 August 2009 by the Wenzhou administration, Uzbekkojobuv and Syrdarya regional administration.
