Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Press Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China recently published a White Paper on labor protection and employment in Xinjiang. This was stated by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin on Monday, in response to criticism from a number of senior US officials on the use of so-called forced labor in Xinjiang.

Wang Wenbin noted that recently, some American politicians, ignoring Xinjiang’s enormous efforts to defend human rights, have constantly exaggerated the topic of "forced labor." These accusations from the United States are completely unfounded. Xinjiang resolutely prevents and punishes any cases of forced labor and protects all legal rights of workers, the diplomat said.
