China to host event on Silk Road Tourism
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 1-3 August 2013, Dunhuang (Gansu, China) will host the 6th UNWTO International Meeting on Silk Road Tourism.

The event is jointly organized by UNWTO, China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) and Gansu Province of China.

The meeting is also organized in collaboration with the China Chamber of Tourism, the members of which are the major tourism operational and investment companies throughout China.

During the meeting, the participants will consider international tourism trends and their impact to Great Silk Road countries, cooperation for development of tourism at Great Silk Road, improving infrastructure and resources in the cities of Great Silk Road, etc.

Among the topics of the event are simplification of visa regime in the Great Silk Road countries, increasing tourism inflow, and others.
