Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - China Global Television Network will make a film about Uzbekistan. This became known during a meeting at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with the general director of the international television channel CGTN in Russian, Central Television and Radio Corporation of China, Dean Yoon, reports Dunyo news agency.

Filming of a documentary film on cooperation between the two countries in the framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative will take place in Uzbekistan and China.

According to the preliminary scenario, the documentary film will reveal the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan and China along the Great Silk Road, centuries-old relations between the two peoples, as well as the current state and prospects of the Uzbek-Chinese strategic partnership.

For this, the CGTN in Russian camera crew headed by Dean Young plans to visit Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva and other ancient cities of Uzbekistan, which are famous for their unique sights, in February-March 2020.

It is expected that the film lasting 60 minutes will be broadcast in China and Uzbekistan in Chinese, Uzbek, Russian and English.
