Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — China Eastern Airlines, a carrier from the People's Republic of China, has received official authorization to operate regular flights to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the intergovernmental Air Services Agreement between Uzbekistan and China, the Uzbekistan Aviation Agency (Uzaviation) issued the corresponding permit to the Chinese airline on 3 July 2025.

Under the approved route, flights will be operated on the Xi’an – Tashkent – Xi’an route.

The flights are expected to be carried out using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
