Children to children campaign held with South Korean orchestra
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A charity campaign “Children to children”, conducted by the Republican Specialized Musical Academic Lyceum named after Uspensky (RSMAL) at the support of Fund Forum, became an international project.
On 23 July, the lyceum hosted a joint concert of the Youth symphonic orchestra of the RSMAL and Youth orchestra Pushkin House from Seoul, South Korea.
Young musicians, including laureates of international and national projects, in cooperation with their South Korean colleagues presented classic music to the audience. The organizers of the concert noted that the concert became start of cooperation with the youth orchestras of Uzbekistan and South Korea.
About 34 young musicians of Youth orchestra Pushkin House participated in the concert. The orchestras are also planning to visit the children department of the Scientific-Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and will give a concert.
The funds, raised from the concert, will be used to purchase medicaments, which will be handed over to the Scientific-Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
