Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Yoshibumi Bito, the Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Uzbekistan, congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on their Independence Day, extending his sincere wishes for their well-being and prosperity.

In his address, he emphasized that JICA has been closely collaborating with Uzbekistan for over 30 years and intends to continue this partnership in the future.

"JICA has been with the Uzbek people for more than 30 years, and we are truly pleased to continue to be with you in the future," Bito stated.

He noted that JICA’s office in Tashkent was the first to be established in Central Asia, and during its operation, over three billion dollars in financial assistance have been provided to Uzbekistan, along with more than 2,000 experts sent for human resource development exchange.

Yoshibumi Bito assured that JICA will continue to support Uzbekistan in its pursuit of prosperity, working hand in hand with the Uzbek people.

"We will continue to support you on your path to prosperity," the Chief of JICA Uzbekistan office emphasized in closing his address.
