In the result of votes of millions of Russian citizens, Chevrolet Spark was named as the best city car for the second year in a row. In the competition, Chevrolet Spark defeated Kia Picanto and Deawoo Matiz.

Jim Bovenzi, General Motors Russia & CIS President and CEO, said that Chevrolet Spark has won a lot of international awards since its launch. He said that the achievements of Spark continues to impress GM.

Chevrolet Spark is also produced in Uzbekistan at the GM Uzbekistan. The Uzbek plant started production of car in August 2010. In 2011, the company produced 28,973 cars of Chevrolet Spark model.
