Deputy chairperson of UzAvtoSanoat Tahir Jalilov expressed his assurance sales of Chevrolet Cobalt and other cars, produced in Uzbekistan, will make two nations closer.

He said that conceptual new Cobalt created by global team of GM to make it as global standard in its segment and sales leader in emerging markets. He said that Cobalt will impress drivers with its modern design, security system and dynamic characteristics.

Chevrolet Cobalt is produced in Asaka city of Uzbekistan on full production cycle. They are equipped with engines, produced at General Motors Powertrain Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

The car is equipped with new 1.5 liter DOHC engine with capacity of 105 horse-power. The car consumes 6.2 liters of petroleum for 100 km.

Chevrolet Cobalt will be realized through Performance Center in Baku, which is dealer of GM CIS in Azerbaijan.
