The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On introduction of changes to “On introduction of changes to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On formation of joint insurance companies Uzbekinvest International, Сhartis Uzbekistan and Сhartis Uzbekinvest Agency” from 23 November 1994”.

The resolution said that the shareholders of Chartis Uzbekinvest agency decided to rename the company into AIG Uzbekinvest.

National Export-Import Insurance company Uzbekinvest holds 49% stake in the agency, while US firm AIG – 51%.

AIG Uzbekinvest carries out agent functions of Uzbekinvest International on expertise and signing insurance agreements.
