Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On approval of the charter of the state unitary enterprise “Direction of special industrial zone “Angren” on 13 July 2012.

According to the charter, the size of the charter capital of SIZ Angren makes up 1 billion soums. The charter capital can be increased in line with the legislation on decision of the founder.

The founder of the SIZ “Angren” is the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

The main goal of SIZ “Angren” is to register participants of the zone, issue corresponding certificates, signing agreements with investor, etc.

SIZ Angren was founded on 13 April 2012 in line with the decree of the President Islam Karimov.

According to the decree, the special industrial zone “Angren” will function for 30 years, but the term can be extended in future.

The document said that the preferences are provided from 3 to 7 years, based on the volume of investments. The preferences are provided for three years at the investment volume from US$300,000 to US$3 million, for 5 years – over US$3 million to US$10 million and for 7 years – from US$10 million.
