Charity weddings take place in Ferghana Valley
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Charity weddings and sunnat-toys (circumcision) tool place in Namangan, Andijan and Ferghana regions from 19 May to 25 Ma 2012, Fund Forum said.
They were organized by Fund Forum, Mehr Nuri Foundation, Social Imitative Support Fund within the project “1000 weddings and sunnat-toys”. Overall, 217 weddings and 207 sunnat-toys were organized in Ferghana Valley.
The weddings were organized for those pairs, who could not organize weddings and sunnat-toys were organized for children from families, who need social support.
The project was organized in Namangan city, Chust, Pop, Mingbuloq, Kasansay, Norin, Yangikurgan and Uychi of Namangan region, Ferghana, Margilan, Oltiariq and Qoqand of Ferghana region and Andijan, Qurgontepa, Jalaquduq, Buz, Asaka, Shahrihon and Izboskan of Andijan region.
All brides received wedding dresses from GULI. The weddings were held at restaurants with participation of relatives and friends. All pairs received gifts and boys received gifts.
The organizers said that the project “1000 weddings and sunnat-toys” will be held in Samarkand and Bukhara regions.
