The charitable event was attended by 100 members of low-income war veterans, retired residents and members of low-income and large families.

On the eve of the event, the organizers, local residents, members of Kelajak Ovozi Youth Initiatives Center and staff of the information centers of the Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens organized a hashar (volunteerism-based cleanup). The hashar attracted about 50 people.

In the evening, some 100 vulnarable families were treated with food at Osiyo restaurant, the organizers said.

Today, the charity campaign Iftorlik is taking place in Karakalpakstan. Similar events will be held in Khorezm and Tashkent.

Similar campaigns were held in Samarkand, Bukhara, Shahrisabz, Qoqand, Andijan, Namangan, Jizzakh and Tashkent regions. Over 5,000 people participated at the charity campaign Iftorlik.
