Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 24 December, at the Kengash Senate Meeting of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in accordance with Article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, changes were approved in the composition of the Board of the Central Bank.

By the decision of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the head of the Executive Office of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Ernazarov and the director of the Department of prudential supervision of credit organizations Abrorkhodja Turdialiev were excluded from the composition of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Acting Director of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation for the training of specialists abroad and dialogue with compatriots at the Agency for Development of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economics, Professor Adham Bekmuradov and Head of the Master’s Program in Applied Economics at Westminster University in Tashkent, Ph.D. (PhD) Ziyodullo Parpiev approved as independent members of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
