Changes in boundaries between Tashkent, Syrdarya, and Namangan regions approved

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a presentation by the Tashkent Regional Cadastre Agency at the regular session of the Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies, it was announced that changes to the borders between Tashkent Region and Syrdarya and Namangan Regions have been approved.

Changes with Syrdarya Region:

Transfer to Tashkent Region: 5 plots (parts of Syrdarya, Saykhunabad, Gulistan, Bayavut districts, and Shirin city) totaling 310.4 hectares.

Transfer to Syrdarya Region: 6 plots (from Chinaz, Kuyichirchik, Akkurgan, Buka, Bekabad districts, and Bekabad city) totaling 347.2 hectares.

Difference: Tashkent Region will lose 36.8 hectares.

Changes with Namangan Region:

Transfer to Tashkent Region: Part of Pap district totaling 38.8 hectares.

Transfer to Namangan Region: Part of Akhangaran district totaling 26.3 hectares.

Difference: Tashkent Region will gain 12.5 hectares.

This resolution was supported and approved by the deputies.
