Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Law “On Amending and Adding to Some Legislative Acts”.

In accordance with the Law, in connection with the improvement of the activities of some state bodies, amendments to more than 20 legislative acts have been introduced.

In particular, in connection with the improvement of the activity of enterprises in the mining and metallurgical industry, amendments were made to the Law "On the Denationalization and Privatization".

According to the amendments, enterprises involved in the development, production and sale of explosives, as well as special materials and equipment for their production, are denationalized and privatized by decree of the President.

In addition, the Code of Criminal Procedure is supplemented by a new norm. According to this, appeals and documents attached to it can be sent to the court in the form of an electronic document. Original documents are provided when the circumstances of the case are subject to confirmation only by such documents, as well as in other necessary cases at the request of the court.

According to the amendments to the Code of Administrative Responsibility, when considering a case of an administrative offense in court at the initiative of the court or at the request of persons participating in the case, audio or video recording of the court session may be conducted.

Also, the decision in the case of an administrative offense may be issued and sent for execution in the form of an electronic document through the information system.

This Law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
