Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Korfez Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey held a meeting and signed a memorandum of cooperation.

During the meeting, issues of supply of metal products from Turkey were discussed.

First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Islam Jasimov put forward a proposal on the possibility of investing in the industrial sectors of Uzbekistan and increasing the supply of agricultural products from Uzbekistan to Turkey.

As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Korfez Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey and the Tashkent City Administration of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

It was also decided to organize a visit of a delegation of businessmen from Uzbekistan to the city of Korfez. This event is aimed at strengthening and developing trade and economic ties between the two countries.
