Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 21 September, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov met with the Vice President of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce Josef Kovacs.

The meeting was also attended by Janusz Vanik, adviser to the Hungarian ambassador on trade and economic issues, and specialists from the Department of International Cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues on the development of bilateral trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Hungary, in the development of mutual trade, attraction of advanced technologies in the field of medicine, pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering and agriculture.

The parties also discussed the details of the upcoming visit of the Uzbek delegation to Budapest (Hungary) in November 2022 to participate in a joint Business Forum and Business Council, as well as a number of promising Uzbek-Hungarian areas planned to be included in the agenda at upcoming events.

The parties reached agreements to determine the composition of the participants of the Business Council, where each party will determine the responsible organizations in 5 main areas: banking, pharmaceuticals, the electrical industry, agriculture and trade.
