Chairperson of the Senate visited a number of industrial enterprises in the Kashkadarya region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the visit to Kashkadarya region, Tanzila Narbaeva also got acquainted with the activities of several enterprises in the region.

In Kashkadarya region today industry is developing rapidly and production capacity is expanding. Among them is the private enterprise SULTON TEX GROUP, a project in Kasbi district worth US$2.2 million. Currently, 500 jobs have been created here.

The Chairperson of the Senate got acquainted with the working conditions at the enterprise, where mainly women living in the region work, and talked with the workers. The company has also created a training center, the graduates of which find jobs here.

Tanzila Narbaeva also visited a sewing enterprise belonging to the Bunyodkor cotton-textile cluster in the Mesit mahalla of Kasan district.

The cluster has created a complete industrial “chain” of cotton cultivation and its deep processing. Equipped with equipment from Turkey and Italy, the enterprise produces finished knitted products. High-quality clothing is also exported.

During the conversation with senior officials and personnel of the enterprise, which created 320 jobs, attention was focused on the issues of employment of women with disabilities who need social protection.

The next point of visit of the Chairperson of the Senate was the small industrial zone “Great Turon” in the city of Karshi. Here an acquaintance with the production processes of the latest generation TVs under the S-Smart brand took place. The company's products, the only ones in the region, are in demand not only on the local market, but are also exported abroad.

It was noted that women here work in the electronics industry, and employment is also provided for the youth of the mahalla. If the number of such enterprises increases, then the socio-economic living conditions of the population will improve.
