Pressing issues of Uzbek-British relations, whose important part are regular interparliamentary exchanges, were discussed, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

In this regard the implementation pace of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Group of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation with the UK Parliament and UK-Uzbekistan All-Party group, signed 22 September 2010, was considered.

During the exchange of views on prospects of enhancing cooperation in trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres a mutual interest in legislative support of interaction in these directions was highlighted.

British Ambassador George Edgar attended the meeting.
