Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- These days, a visit of members of the delegation consisting of heads of ministries and departments led by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov to the People’s Republic of China is taking place. During the visit, heads of ministries and departments meet with Chinese partners.

In particular, the delegation of Uzbekistan held talks with representatives of the State Tax Administration of the People’s Republic of China in order to familiarize themselves with best practices in the tax system of the country. Also, members of the delegation visited the head office of Huawei, located in Shenzhen, and discussed issues of cooperation.

During the meeting with representatives of the State Tax Administration of the People’s Republic of China, the delegation members got acquainted with the history of the Golden Tax information platform, which was created by Huawei in cooperation with CEIEC partner. At the same time, during the meeting, an exchange of views on the experience of China in the implementation of digital technologies in the tax system took place.

This system was introduced in 1994 in China and is recognized as an effective platform for promoting tax compliance. Today the third stage of this project is being introduced.

Representatives of Huawei and CEIEC demonstrated technological solutions based on this platform for use in a project to modernize the tax system in Uzbekistan.

The advantage of this platform is that it provides the ability to control the movement of products to the end consumer and the implementation of payments during this process in the context of each participant, by informing the industry.

As a result of the introduction of a digital platform and multichannel tax services (APP mobile application, web, automated self-service machines and others), taxpayers are provided with high-quality services in the voluntary performance of their duties. The innovation strengthens the transparent relationship between tax authorities and taxpayers.

“Software products produced by CEIEC based on Huawei technologies are of great importance during the period of implementation of large-scale reforms in the tax administration of our country. Therefore, we are pleased to invite CEIEC representatives to study the experience of implementing Golden Tax and discuss issues of applying positive results to practice,” Behzod Musaev, Chairman of the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, stressed.
