Chairman of the Governing Board of the Swiss National Bank held a meeting at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan. He familiarized himself with the macroeconomic situation in Uzbekistan and ongoing reforms in the banking and financial system.

He received information about the measures being taken to further improve the investment climate and ensure the stability of the banking system.

Jordan expressed a desire to support the actions of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan on the liberalization of monetary policy.

Thomas Jordan made a presentation on “Economic Conditions and Monetary Policy of Switzerland” at the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan for employees of the Central Bank and heads of commercial banks.
