Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The State Unitary Enterprise “Certification Center for Tourist Services” constantly monitors information about accommodation facilities in Uzbekistan on such international booking platforms as www.booking.com, www.ostrovok.ru, www.mybooking.uz.
The control is aimed at analyzing the data provided by local hotels, hostels and other users for their reliability and compliance of the stated parameters with reality.
Based on the results of the monitoring, cases of providing false information were identified. In particular, as of 15 January, 175 cases of unfounded classification, 234 cases of activity without a certificate and without inclusion in the register, 49 cases of incorrect assignment of type, name, address to an accommodation facility were registered. A total of 458 cases of violations were recorded.
In order to provide reasonable and correct information for users of hotel services, together with specialists from interested organizations, a number of works were carried out and the following results were achieved. Thus, 232 violations have already been eliminated, of which: 69 cases of unjustified assignment of “stars” to hotels, 144 cases of activities without a certificate and without inclusion in the register, as well as 19 cases of incorrect assignment of type, name, address to an accommodation facility.
In addition, information about categories in the international booking system for 67 accommodation facilities operating in our country was corrected; for 4 accommodation facilities previously operating without a certificate, the necessary documents were drawn up in the prescribed manner.
Monitoring of information about accommodation facilities in the international online booking system and correction of unfounded information will be carried out regularly.
Along with this, the media plans to highlight data on accommodation facilities that provide false information on online booking platforms.
