Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An incubation and acceleration center launched its activities at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.  The center was established to implement the startups and scientific developments of students and to reveal the talents of talented students.

The incubation program aims to support promising startup projects through training programs and expert advice.

The acceleration program is designed for prototype owners who need to develop a complete product.

IT Park is a complex of facilities, buildings, and structures for IT companies to ensure the launch and marketing of promising start-up projects, foreign economic zone, including integration with scientific and educational organizations.  Active and talented IT professionals will have the opportunity to turn their ideas into real business projects through accounting, legal, marketing, and education.

The Memorandum stipulates that the parties will cooperate in the following areas:

- establishing direct cooperation between the parties;

- implementation of joint projects with the involvement of donors, grants, etc., as well as the development of the startup ecosystem;

- organization of seminars and training for teachers, coaches, and students on individual programs;

- cooperation in other areas by mutual agreement.

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the development of information technology and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specialists of the Samarkand branch of IT Park, as well as professors and students of the International University of Tourism "Silk Road".  The center will be equipped with 8 state-of-the-art computer sets, software, and multimedia equipment.
