Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An agreement was signed between the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Bank of the Republic of Korea (Bank of Korea) on the Knowledge Partnership Program.

The program is aimed at promoting the development of the financial market and macroeconomic policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to support long-term economic growth, as well as strengthening the capacity of employees of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan through the exchange of advanced knowledge and practice of the Republic of Korea and experience in implementing the Bank of Korea policy in relevant areas.

As part of the Program, the Bank of Korea will provide the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan with advice on foreign exchange policy, including in-depth macroeconomic analysis to improve the qualifications of employees of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The program will be implemented by a team of employees of the Bank of Korea, scientific consultants, leading Korean economic institutions and employees of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
