Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan predicts that the country’s economy will grow by 5.2-5.7% in 2024, which is slightly lower than the previous forecast. This is stated in the Central Bank’s commentary on monetary policy for the first quarter.

It was previously reported that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts Uzbekistan’s GDP growth at 5.2% in 2024.

World Bank experts expect that this year the economy of Uzbekistan will grow by 5.3%.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) forecasts Uzbekistan’s economic growth at 5.5% in 2024.

The economy of Uzbekistan showed growth of 6.2% in January-March of this year.
