Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23-24 June, employees of the Central Bank of Uzbekistantook part in the Seventh Meeting of the Group of Experts on Financial Inclusion Policy of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFD).
During the event, the member countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia made presentations on the main achievements, current initiatives and prospects for work in the field of financial inclusion.
The employees of the Central Bank presented the results of work on the digitalization of personal data and expanding the capabilities of the National Information Database of Bank Depositors.
The conference discussed current global trends and innovations in the use of digital instruments, the role of financial sector regulators in building trust and promoting the effective use of digital instruments for financial inclusion through public-private partnerships. Particular attention is paid to the issues of effective coverage of rural and remote regions with financial services, increasing the financial literacy of the population in the AFD member countries.
In addition, during a separate session, the experience of developing and developed countries in the application of RegTech and SupTech supervisory technologies was considered. The experts shared their recommendations for creating conditions for the successful implementation of digital solutions for collecting and analyzing data, the main risks faced by regulators implementing digital solutions to solve supervisory functions and tasks.
