Central Bank suspends licenses of two credit unions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of Uzbekistan suspended licenses of two credit unions, the regulator said at its statement.

The Board of the Central Bank suspended licenses to carry out activity of credit unions of Vostok Credit (Namangan city) and Universitet (Tashkent city).

According to the statement, these credit unions systematically violated requirements of the Law “On credit unions” and normative acts of the Central Bank, as well as did not implemented orders of the Central Bank.

Credit unions were ordered to present information to the Central Bank on elimination of violations within ten days. Otherwise, the Central Bank will abolish licenses.
