Central Bank set the price of gold and silver coins

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan set prices for gold and silver coins, which were put for sale.

According to the regulator, prices for precious metal coins are set from 28 November 2018.

The price of one gold coin is 12.7 million soums, the Central Bank said. One silver coin can be purchased for 236,000 soums.

Earlier, the Central Bank said that the regulator as a pilot project issues commemorative coins of gold and silver for sale.

Two gold and 14 kinds of silver coins made of 999.9 metal and weighing 31.1 grams, issued in 1994-2009, are presented for sale.

The total number of coins put up for sale is 1900 gold and 6900 silver.

The cost of commemorative coins is established by the Central Bank in national currency at least once a week.

Starting from 28 November 2018, commemorative coins of the Central Bank may be purchased in separate branches of commercial banks by means of payment in cash and cashless form.
