Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has put on sale gold commemorative coins for the 580th anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi. This was reported by the press service of the regulator.

Commemorative coins were issued in denominations of 50 thousand soums and 100 thousand soums. The price of a coin with a face value of 50 thousand soums is 13.4 million soums. Coins with a face value of 100 thousand soums can be bought for 20.4 million soums.

The regulator also released souvenir kits. The price for the sets is now 102.43 million soums.

The Central Bank notes that prices may be revised based on the conjuncture of the international precious metals market.

According to the Central Bank, commemorative coins can be purchased at commercial banks in Uzbekistan.
