Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan decided to issue a license to conduct banking operations to the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank “Tenge Bank”.

It should be noted that the People’s Bank of Kazakhstan (Halyk Bank) is the founder of Tenge Bank in Uzbekistan.

Earlier it was reported that the subsidiary bank will be located in Yakkasaray district of Tashkent. The capital of the subsidiary of the People’s Bank of Kazakhstan will be about US$15 million.
