Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan held a training seminar organized jointly with the international company in the field of cybersecurity Group-IB on the topic “Types of fraud in the financial sector and countermeasures. Expertise Group-IB”. It was attended by representatives of the Central Bank, commercial banks and company experts.

The seminar covered a wide range of issues, including forms of fraud and ways to minimize risks in the banking sector, fraud using payment systems, social engineering, fraudulent calls, remote access to the device, account theft, etc.

During the discussions, special emphasis was placed on the ability to recognize virtual "traps", online fraud, knowledge of the possibilities of virtual financial fraud and what to do in order not to become a victim of fraudsters.

At the end of the seminar, the participants received practical experience and answers to their questions.
