Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Central Bank of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the delegation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The meeting discussed the projects planned by the IFC related to the development of housing finance in the primary and secondary markets, as well as the expansion of the financing market for micro, small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) in Uzbekistan.

IFC experts presented the results of preliminary diagnostics of the housing sector and financing of MSME entities. The parties exchanged views on the formation of sources and increasing the scale of long-term resources for financing mortgage loans on market conditions, as well as possible ways to further develop the financing market for MSME entities.

Following the meeting, the participants expressed interest in deepening mutual cooperation on the issues discussed and elaborating further joint work.
