Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the Chairman of the Board of Halyk Bank JSC (People’s Bank of Kazakhstan) Umut Shayakhmetova.

The management of Halyk Bank emphasized the impressive scale of reforms in Uzbekistan, the dynamics of development of the banking sector and the significance of the opportunities created for foreign investors.

Also at the meeting, the five-year performance indicators of Halyk Bank JSC’s subsidiary, Tenge Bank, were presented, and further plans were announced to expand the bank’s activities in the regions, introduce modern digital technologies in customer service and new types of banking products.
